APW Glazing Ltd was proud to deliver the glazing installation package at St Ann’s Phase 1 for Hill Partnerships Ltd.

Our scope of works included the supply and installation of high-performance window systems, fitted in accordance with the project’s design specification and energy efficiency requirements. Each installation was completed by our experienced team with precision and care, ensuring a consistent standard of workmanship and a high-quality finish throughout the development.

Working collaboratively with Hill Partnerships Ltd and the wider site team, we maintained strong communication and programme coordination to support the smooth and timely delivery of works.

Quality of Work - The installers I’ve had on site have been the best I’ve had in my experience. Management of Project - Dave and Damien have managed the project to perfection. Communication - Great communication, I’ve always been advised of when works will be carried out and always got a quick response to my Notices to commence Site Operatives - All the operatives on site have been very good, 1 of them Mihai won the Employee of the month on site

Quality of Work - APW employed to install windows so judged on line and level and final fit which was excellent. No out of tolerance fitting noted throughout project. Management of Project - Very good with site based working Black Hat Supervisors. Works were generally carried out by small teams of two or three operatives and managed work load very well. Visiting managers were light touch and very few occasions I had to raise concerns but was quickly discussed and executed. Directors always available to discuss issues communication - Very good pre contract and very little contractual discussions need once works started on site. Site Operatives - APW have some really good fitters and my experience were user friendly, compliant to our safety and management regime at Wates. Site Operatives - Repeat business securing my next project is in large part down to the quality of operatives we deal with daily and expect ongoing performance to be maintained.

Quality of Work - Operatives have been diligent with installation and setting out. Issues with openings or gridlines have bene flagged quickly by APW installers. Application of spray protection has been very good and has been effective at minimising damage. Management of Project - Project Manager has been good, Health and safety has been well managed throughout. Comprehensive QA records have been issued via the online system on a regular basis. Communication - On-site the communication with the APW team has been very good throughout the course of the project. Site Operatives - Health and safety has been well managed with a good attitude from the operatives employed by APW. Operatives have all held relevant CSCS cards and the quality of installation has been very good.

Quality of Work - APW installed windows purchased by the main contractor and did so to a good standard. We have had minimal defects and where defects were present they have been closed quickly. Management of Project - APW were led on site by David Poole, a very capable and energetic individual. They performed well against the programme in the face of some delays (by others). Communication - St George have had a very good working relationship with APW and communication and availability of the APW team to be contacted has always been good. Site Operatives - Operatives were generally sensible and tidy and I observed them working safely many times.
